Dynamic Transparent Data Batch Processing which increases application
performance up to 200 to 500% in the new Service Release 8 of CocoBase®

CocoBase provides developers with an intelligent system that automatically
batch processes only the changed data across object models, an important
technological innovation. The developer is no longer required to
manually attempt to control the batch processing of data in the
application. This is a major challenge for large enterprise applications
using batch processing especially with large amounts of data. Now
the developer can easily reduce the amount of interactions with
the database increasing performance and lower the costs of purchasing
additional computer power.
The CocoBase®
persistence engine now supports transparent 'batch' handling of
entire object models. This includes support for batch inserts, batch
updates and batch deletes - each of which can individually be enabled
without producing batch behaviors with the other functions. The
batch operations apply to all objects within a persistence session,
and will transparently span object model graphs. The batch operations
are automatically order related to database constraints to ensure
they are executed in the proper order for database integrity. An
average application's update operations can typically expect anywhere
from a 2 times to 5 times performance improvement when using batch
operations.
CocoBase®
provides a complete platform for increasing application performance.
First and foremost is the amazing base performance of CocoBase®
which is two to three times faster than just using JDBC. Secondly,
CocoBase® caching increases performance by as much as 400 -
500 times that of raw SQL loads. It also maximizes the combined
use of calls to the database that greatly minimizes throughput.
CocoBase's® object graph performance is uniquely 'linear' thus
the performance cost of managing 1 object or 10,000 objects which
have changed is the same per object cpu-wise. We know of no other
Object to Relational Mapping tool that retains linear performance

SQL and JDBC commands that further support high performance in the
